Joshua trained at RADA in lighting design and stage electrics and graduated in 2010. After graduating, Joshua undertook work as lighting designer and production electrician, but since 2011 has focused solely on his career in design. Joshua works across a broad spectrum of performance; from theatre to live events and music.
As well as his lighting design work, Joshua is also a co-owner of Otherplace Productions. Otherplace Productions is the biggest operator at the Brighton Fringe Festival, well known for it's festival site 'The Warren'. For the 2015 festival Joshua designed and commissioned a 70 seat touring theatre for the company and, for the upcoming 2016 festival, has designed two new touring studio theatres and a custom two-level bar.
